Karen supports our practice through administrative and office operations. She keeps our office running smoothly everyday. A Wantagh native and proud mom of two, she brings both organization and heart to everything she does. Karen is dedicated to making sure patients feel comfortable, welcomed, and well-cared for from the moment they walk through the door. Outside of the office, Karen enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling to new places and unwinding with her favorite reality TV shows. Her attention to detail, warm personality, and commitment to excellence make her an invaluable part of our dental office team.
Vanessa Randazzo
Registered Dental Hygienist
Vanessa is our bubbly dental hygienist who loves helping patients feel comfortable and confident about their smiles. Originally from West Islip, she graduated from Farmingdale State College and is passionate about educating her young patients on how to care for their teeth in a way that’s easy to understand and enjoyable.
In addition to her work in pediatric dentistry, Vanessa has five years of experience in orthodontics and is skilled in helping patients maintain healthy, confident smiles throughout their treatment. She also volunteered at the VA Hospital, providing cleanings and care for veterans. Vanessa values building genuine relationships with her patients and strives to make every visit a positive, comfortable experience.
Outside the office, Vanessa enjoys spending time with her family and dog. Her faith plays an important role in her life and inspires the care and kindness she shows to others.
Carmen Nieman
Registered Dental Hygienist
Carmen is a dedicated and compassionate registered dental hygienist with over 10 years of experience in providing exceptional oral care to patients. She graduated with a BS in dental hygiene from Farmingdale State College, and has since continued her education to stay current on the latest advancements in the field.
Carmen is known for gentle touch and ability to put even the most anxious patients at ease. She takes great pride in promoting good oral hygiene habits and educating patients on the importance of preventative dental care.
In her free time, Carmen enjoys spending time outdoors with her two daughters and family. She loves gardening and baking. In addition, she enjoys volunteering at local schools participating in community outreach programs. Carmen is a true advocate for oral health and committed to making a positive impact on the lives of her patients and community.
Lisa Salemi
Dental Assistant
Lisa has been a certified dental assistant for over 25 years, bringing experience and energy to our team. As a proud mom of three, her eldest son is an electrician, while one child is in college and another in high school. Outside the office, Lisa enjoys working out daily, staying active, and traveling with her husband of 20 years. She is dedicated to providing gentle and compassionate care, ensuring a comfortable experience for all our young patients.
Gladis Yanis
Dental Assistant
Gladis is a dental assistant at Wantagh Seaford Pediatric Dentistry and is currently attending Farmingdale University, where she is studying to become a dental hygienist. She is passionate about learning and enjoys helping children feel comfortable and confident during their dental visits. Gladis is dedicated to providing excellent care and creating a positive experience for every young patient. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants, and staying active through various hobbies. Her friendly demeanor and commitment to her profession make her an invaluable member of our team.
